Wait staff is very attentive. Food is amazing. Service was quick.
The gong bao chicken with peanuts had a decent level of spicyness but the sichuan peppercorns really made it taste great.

Heads-up: this dish is genuinely spicy!🥵 And at the same time genuinely delicious! 😋 The best fried 🐓 wings I have had in a UK restaurant so far 😋 Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside! Big strong flavour instantly surprises you with one small bite! I suspect the chef coated the wings with egg yolk before frying to preserve the tenderness. And the wings could be marinated lightly in advance too. 😋 The numbing Sichuan peppercorns surrounded the six wings seamlessly to ensure the spicy vibe🌶️ to stay put, stay beautiful and stay attractive to your taste buds! 😋 A must must must order! 😋😋😋 Cannot emphasize enough‼️
✅ Stir-fried pork and green chilli 🌶️ On the Rice - truly yummy - 9.5/10‼️
There is one line keeping my mind busy after this main everyday: I wish we lived in one of the apartment buildings right next to @dandan.restaurant and we could order all the varieties “On the Rice” every evening for dinner!🍽️ It’s genuinely inexpensive and most importantly and it’s genuinely tasty. If you ever had it in China, you would know what I mean! 😅

I am a huge fan of Chinese chives though it’s hard to find in most supermarkets somehow except Asian ones. And the combination of these two together presents a great savoury effect to deliver bean curd’s chewiness and Chinese chives’ unique flavor. ☺️

Love coming to Dan Dan! The staff is very attentive and quick. Food is very flavorful. Definitely try the Fragrant Chilli Chicken, a bit spicy but delicious!
